"Senior Stress"

In September of 2012 began my senior year.
It's strange to think college is almost here.
Then I will be taking the first steps toward my career.
Thinking about this has filled me with stress.
Because my only option life is success.

The stress is growing inside.
Growing stronger as time goes by.
Stressful is not how I pictured my senior year.
I've always thought it would only consist of joy and cheer.
That was clearly not the case, now that it is here.

Although the stress is building,
A large part of me finds starting this journey quite thrilling.
Even if this is a battle I cannot win,
I will not let stress win.
I refuse to give in.
